A Stroll in the Park?

Vistage member Peter Sutton of PMW Communications in partnership with Tandridge House School has launched the Horsham 100 campaign to raise £100,000 for local charities, with 2011’s proceeds being donated to The Dame Vera Lynn Trust for Children with Cerebral Palsy.

As part of the fundraising campaign, Peter has teamed up with The West Sussex County Times to organise a charity walk on Saturday 17th September.  It certainly won’t be ‘a stroll in the park’ as the event will take participants 100km across the stunning landscape of the South Downs in just 36 hours.

Peter commented: “I am incredibly excited about the Horsham 100k walk.  Not only is this a great opportunity for team building within businesses, it is a great way to raise staff moral by doing something fantastic for charity.  If we could get 100 people taking part raising around £250 each, that would be a staggering £25,000 towards our target for such an amazing charity as The Dame Vera Lynn Trust”.

Peter and members of his PMW Communications team have committed to do the walk, and the event will also be supported by at least three members of Peter’s Vistage 41 Group.
