Ian Simons retirement dinner

As Ian Simons retires from Vistage in August 2010,  having first Chaired his London group V 13 back in December 1995, his members arranged a farewell evening to thank him for his mentoring and Chairmanship over the last 15 years.  Trevor Francis V 13, Raz Khan V 2 and Mike Wooderson Key 203 held the evening in an elegant private dining room at the famous Sally Clarks Restaurant in Kensington Church Street where 44 guests of Ian, all members and alumni from over the years attended.  Phil Meddings and his wife, founder of TEC Australia and TEC/ Vistage UK, were there to honour him.

It was all over too quickly as it was a lively and intimate evening with so many close members there, from all sectors of business from in and around London.  Gerry Loughney, a Chief Executive member with Ian since January 1996 made a heart warming & humorous speech, followed by Mike Wooderson, a Key member for over 10 years, on behalf of everyone.

Even though Ian has retired from his current Vistage role,  he will still be playing an important part in Vistage as he heads up the new Nexus programme for Vistage alumni.  The first meeting of which will be held  on the 2nd December at the Smith & Williamson offices at 25 Moorgate, London.
