On Tuesday 24th November, around 30 Midlands CEOs gathered at industrial giant Goodyear Dunlop Tyres, for a business breakfast hosted by Vistage Chair Alan Cook and Vistage member Mark Brickhill, Group Managing Director of Goodyear Dunlop UK.
Mark Brickhill delivered an interactive and informative session on just some of his learnings about Strategy and Leadership, during his career at Procter and Gamble and, since 2006, at Goodyear Dunlop. The audience appreciated him sharing what he found had worked well and what he is still striving to improve. Mark also gave examples where his Vistage group had helped with his decision making and the conviction to implement change, during his first 14 months of membership.
The attendees also experienced a taste of how a peer group of business leaders can help bring fresh perspectives and ideas to the challenges we all face, as some volunteers tabled their most current concerns and left with a range of new and creative potential solutions.
The attendees declared the morning an interesting and valuable insight, with some new tools to take away and apply in their own businesses.
