Uckfield-based Affinity Select Insurance finished joint runner-up in the Commercial Lines Broker of the Year Category alongside the UK’s 19th largest broker, Howden. The category was won by Gallagher Heath, currently ranked ninth in the UK.
The recognition has come as a massive boost to Affinity Select which focuses on professional indemnity, domestic and medical insurance policies.
“This is like Uckfield FC taking on Manchester United in the FA cup final — that’s the difference in size between us," said Managing Director and member of Vistage 41 Jenny Carter-Vaughan.
“To be spoken of in the same breath as these industry leaders is a compliment but to be shortlisted alongside them in the industry ‘Oscars’ is an amazing achievement. I’m extremely proud of the team.”
