Ivan Goldberg
I’ve been a Vistage chair since 1992 and it has been the best time of my business career. I have been running my own management consultancy practice since 1980, specialising in strategic planning, helping clients through the process of change, and mentoring the Chief Executive. My background was originally in aircraft manufacture and mechanical engineering, amd more recently, in the management of small/medium enterprises. I’m a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. I’m married to Hilary (2nd for both of us) and I have two offspring plus three grandchildren. We also have a dog (Cavalier King Charles spaniel) who organises our lives. Ivan is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers having started his working life in the aircraft industry for Avro Limited (now BAe Systems plc) where he helped to sell some very large military aircraft to South Africa and South America. His subsequent business experience covers senior posts in organisations such as Renold plc, Volex plc and WBJ Engineering Limited. Ivan is married to Hilary and coaches and mentors senior personnel, facilitates strategic planning exercises and acts as a mediator in a range of businesses through his own consultancy practice.
